This WiFi monitor is so easy to use! It comes with instructions that you can actually understand. Some of the things it tells you to click are worded slightly differently on my app (android) but really, with a bit of common sense you can do it. The night vision is good, the video quality is great, and I like that I can talk to whoever is in the room with just the click of a button. There is about a second delay in video, and a couple for sound. Totally acceptable for this type of device. I had tried to put this in my kids’ playroom but my WiFi is not strong enough that far from my router. My cell phone times out for the video portion and I have to unlock my phone to get it back, but the sound portion stays on the whole time the app is open and I find that to be very helpful.
Another feature this monitor has is you can record and take pictures, but I haven’t figured out how to get them onto my cell phone yet. I haven’t really tried yet, but you can access them in the app to look back on later. I guess you could just screen shot the picture from the app on your phone if it was something you really needed to have. The app also has the option to alert you on your phone if motion or sound is detected above the selected sensitivity level. You can also have it snap a picture or video when the alarm is triggered as well. I will be messing around with this more at a later time.
I would recommend this to anyone if the WiFi is strong enough in the room you need it for. If your cell phone is slow on WiFi this is not going to work for you in that room. We have little to no cell service so we rely on WiFi for everything and nothing works well in the room furthermost from our router.
